The Illinois Open Meetings Act requires all public bodies to post notice of their meetings at least 48 hours in advance. However, negotiations meetings between school officials and union heads are exempt from posting notice.

Kishwaukee Elementary mom wants Pepsi to refresh school’s library - Rockford, IL - Rockford Register Star

 

The stay-at-home mom entered the contest earlier this month and was approved to become one of 1,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant projects for which people can vote online. Proposals that receive the 10 highest vote totals will be funded.
